A little tidbit that makes me even more excited that I’ve already procured my tickets to the frighteningly exciting Arcade Fire/LCD Soundsystem tour: According to Pitchfork, they’ll be cutting a split 7″ featuring The Arcade Fire covering Serge Gainsbourg/France Gall’s “Poupee de Cire, Poupee de Son” and LCD covering Joy Division rarity “No Love Lost.” Which, in case you weren’t aware, is unfathomably cool. The single will be available at any of the remaining tour dates and through each of the respective bands’ websites.
